WORKSHOP MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN: 50 Nos

SALARY : OMR 148+88.80=236.80 + FRIDAY/ HOLIDAY OT

 

Job Dimensions (OBJECTIVES)

To diagnose faults in machinery & equipment and carry out any necessary repairs independently.

 

To judge the magnitude & seriousness of fault. To find out the root cause of breakdown and prevention of the same fault. 

 

Qualification

ITI Fitter or Diploma in Mechanical . Two years certificate course as mechanics; or 5 years related experience in maintenance of machines; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Experience

·         At least 5 years experience in machinery maintenance;

·         Thorough knowledge mechanical mechanism, power transmission, types of bearings, lubricants and general engineering materials

·         Knowledge of compressor maintenance;

·         Worked in nail, wire drawing and galvanized manufacturing will an added value;

 

Skills  :

·  An ability to work as part of a team

·  Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

·  Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

·  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and other employees of the organization.

·  Problem solving skills.

·  Ability to read technical drawings and sketching simple drawings.

·  Reporting habits to seniors and supervisor.

·  Humble polite and meticulous in day to day affairs

·  Awareness of safety procedures.

Responsibilities :

• To work in shifts, Day or night shift.

·         To carry out task efficiently and effectively at any point of time 24 hrs when ever it

o   Calls for an emergency.

• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs effectively.
• Complete and maintain all required documentation about repairs carried out.
• Report any product defects and suggested improvements to product development staff.
• To carry out projects and development with in the departments.
• To carry out maintenance work in any department.

 

 

NOTES : Short listing in progress / Long Term Project

 

Age limit  : 21 – 40

12 hrs duty + OT

FREE FOOD & ACCOMMODATION BY COMPANY
